LITTLE WELFARE GENERATORS!

They’re finally starting to get it! At least some of them. A bill by California Representatives Howard P. “Buck” McKeon, R-Santa Clarita and Rep. Gary Miller, R-Brea aims to prohibit anchor babies from being given US citizenship unless at least one parent is a legal citizen. It’s about damn time! This is a bill with legs, believe me!

The 14th Amendment grants legal citizenship to anyone born on US soil. The law was written in 1868! How has the world changed since then? Most illegal aliens are eager to squirt out as many anchor babies on US soil for one reason. Welfare! Once their nino is a citizen, they become eligible for all manner of public assistance courtesy of Mr. and Mrs. John Screwed Taxpayer! Predictably, DemonRats are already screaming:

“This bill is unconstitutional,” said Rep. Joe Baca, D-San Bernardino. “It would change one of the most basic principles that our nation was founded on: If you were born in the United States, you’re an American.”

Tu madre, Baca! The law was never written to give billions of dollars in welfare to illegals. They didn’t even have welfare in the 1800′s. People worked for a living!

AWD thinks this bill has about as much chance of being brought to a vote as Michael Moore going to a salad bar (I’ve used way too many Michael Moore metaphors lately). But hopefully with Republicans controlling Congress after November, we can elect enough true American patriots who will do the right thing for America! I’m proud of these two California legislators! I only have one suggestion that would make the bill unnecessary….CLOSE THE DAMN BORDERS! TRIPLE FENCES, DOGS, BORDER PATROL, WHATEVER IS NECESSARY!

    Well…hallelujah!

    One thing about what you said, after the mid-terms, this will have legs…and they will run to the finish…and win.

    If any congress-critter has a brain they will make this a major part of their stump speech/platform and run with it…the msm wants us to think this is a non-issue because they DON’T mention it…which is infuriating as it is…and has been for years…it is going to be up to the congress-critters like Hayworth for one example to make this a huge issue…along with plenty of others all across this nation…this country isn’t deaf, dumb and blind….it is a major, major issue…and it’s not going away…at all.

    Calif. has had it to the gills…this is just the beginning…

    I hate to break your heart, but this bill should be called the “ice cube in hell bill”. It don’t have a chance. It’s a great idea, don’t get me wrong, but to pass a bill like this,….I hope I’m wrong…but I don’t think so.

    I don’t think this is on topic, but I’m curious to know if anybody has had problems with certificate errors showing up on email pages, or websites like this one. my gmail page shows a certificate error, and also my livemail page. I have other favorites that have nothing to do with politics, and they seem to be fine. I mistakenly signed a petition for some leftwing nutjob outfit, and I am getting emails from them. Someone named, Adam Goldsmith or something like that. The certificate errors only seem to show up on conservative websites that I’ve saved. HELP!

    it’s amazing how much the progressives love the constitution when it benefits them…. and want to burn it when it shits on their parade.

    we could have prevented the issues with mexican immigration along w/ Obama NOT being a natural born citizen if our worhtless supreme court would have made a ruling on what a “natural born citizen” is, because to me and most of america, you are not a “natural born citizen” unless BOTH of your parents are LEGAL citizens and you were BORN on U.S. soil.

    this would help keep commie kenyans out of office and stop the dirty mexicans from hoppin the border so they can plop out a paycheck.

    It a great thought, but I seriously doubt that there are enough Conservatives to make it happen…

    We’re going to have a lot more Conservatives soon, but there’s still going to be far too many Dems and RINOs…

    I haven’t had that happen yet…I just finally TODAY got my computer fixed regarding malware etc…took six hours to do that…and I’ve been working on this for about a month to get to the bottom of this and fixed.

    I’m wishing you the best….I mean that too.

    I’m sorry that I can’t give you anything more definative than my belief, but that’s truly all I have. I don’t think we will have gotten rid of enough D’ or RINO’s in time to pass this bill, IF and when it ever makes it to a vote. And even some R’s we don’t know about will still show us how stupid they can be in the next few months. Just forgive me for being negative about this and I pray I’m wrong and I will pray that you are right.

    The law as proposed would be a test of the 14th Amendment. The SCOTUS would become involved and there lies the problem. It would not stand the test with today’s SCOTUS. It looks like 2 more Justices will be retiring (or dying) and would be replaced with more goobers like Sotomeyor. And that ain’t good! And just think of the negative impact on mailbox mfrs. if that passes!

    Mike…oh yeah..you’ve got me laughing…you could not or would not believe the # of spies I found today…going to make sure I’ve got them all gone for now in the morning…take about 3 hours, but nobody knows how happy I am my computer is back to some kind of normalcy…love what one’s mind can learn…all by their lonesomes, no matter how long it takes when it something like the computer and you were not raised anywhere near them..but are stubborn…where’s there’s a will, there’s a way.

    Another provision that should be in the bill that might/would/should satisfy most.
    The anchor babies can BECOME American citizens at age 21 upon application (i.e., jump to the head of the line) and upon passing other requirements of citizenship (know history, take the test, etc) — BUT — they have to be raised by their parents in the parents native country.

    SO PACK UP AND LEAVE. WE’LL SEE YA LATER.

    I thought hell would freeze over before the New Orleans Saints would ever win a Super Bowl, but we all know how that played out! I think hell will freeze over before the bleeding heart liberals in this country will allow a bill to pass that actually takes something away from a non-citizen and saves the U.S. taxpayers all kinds of money.
    California, (the land of fruits and nuts, IMO) finally gets it…should have seen this years ago and maybe they wouldn’t be strapped like they are.
    I hope and pray that this bill does get by and stops this stupid way of illegals getting in and getting by.

    With immigration out of control I’ve said for years that U.S. Citizenship needs to be redefined. One of the parents must be a U.S. citizen for the children to be citizens. Simply being born on U.S. soil is no longer the sole criteria.

    I am sure you all are aware of the problem. The part of the sentence in the 14th that says “under the jurisdiction of” is what has screwed us on birthright citizenship. It has been argued for years and its original intent was to grant citizenship to blacks afterv the civil war . Some places in the outh set up a situation that was not “one man, onevote” for Negroes. The 14th purpose was to fix that, not to open the door of ripoffs on American citizens.

    It’s the kind of crap Pelosi or Boxer or Ruth Bader Justice would think was a “nice” thing to do.

    Are you arguing that the Constitution is a “living document” that adapts and changes with the times? Sounds like a liberal interpretation to me. Especially since the Constitution clearly states, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside”.

    It’s also interesting to note that many “birthers” also support this bill. Keep in mind that these are people who claim Obama can’t be a citizen because they believe he wasn’t born in the U.S. So now, even when someone is born here, they want to deny them citizenship? Sounds like a pretty arbitrary application of the 14th Amendment.

    Mister Bill has it right, the 14th amendment was written to gaurantee citizenship for all the freed slaves,….not children of illegal aliens!

    Some friggin liberal activist court of the past twisted the meanings around to fit their agendas and now the bastards will try to cite “precedence” instead of following the true meaning of the amendment.

    It definitely needs to go to the Supreme Court!

    This is completely outrageous and NO nation in the world is so stupid as to have this kind of “birthright policy”!

    I got no problem with people being born here being citizens. With that said, if their parents are illegal, they must leave, and recieve zero social service help. The child has to stay with their parent.

    Wouldn’t a constitutional amendment amending the relevant parts of the 14th amendment be necessary.
