…What the Hell are we fighting for?!? Are we even fighting these sheep bangers?

It seems that we have deployed to Afghanistan, to help kick Taliban @$$, the National Guard Agribusiness Development Teams. Whiskey … Tango … Foxtrot…. Not ordinary citizen-soldiers, these farmer-citizen-soldiers are now “plucked from the field” to go halfway ‘round the world, to do what? Teach the Taliban how to grow goats? Poppies? While the US suffers under the worst drought conditions in recent memory.

I’ve been chewing on this for a few days trying to put together a coherent post, but I just can’t do it. It would be funny if it weren’t so sad. I need input from you guys, to try to wrap my head around it, but I have some questions to lead off with:

-Why does the NG even have “Agribusiness Development Teams?”
-How much is that setting us back ($$$)?
-When did they get there? How long have they been deployed? What brainiac sent ‘em?
-Is plowing under fire really a different skill set?
-Why the heck is any American in Afghanistan?
-Does Afghanistan produce anything other than sex slaves- errr, goats- and heroin?
-What else goes on that we don’t know about?
-and-
-Please, please, tell me that US troops are not helping grow poppies!

This is weird. This is complicated. I don’t get it. Maybe it is simple, tell me. So, I will just leave y’all with a couple of links to the NG ADTs:

If that’s too much for you, maybe you’d rather attend the “Virtual Diversity Conference.”

Sorry, no music… I can’t think of anything that goes with this one!
