Same old song and dance: “Just Deal With It!”
Well, well, well…once again we get another long-winded rant from one of Dear Leader’s old friend’s from Chicagostan. In this case, that being none other than Melissa Harris Perry. You know, the gal that feeds at the trough of msDNC’s Funny Farm on week-ends. Now, I know full well most of you are wise enough not to bother with that nutty 24/7 racist network…but yours truly, being the political junkie she is, happened to catch this segment. See what you think about all said via this so-called professor’s yapper:
MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry had a bold suggestion for Democrats she believes lack “swagger” going into November’s midterm elections: tell voters to “just deal” with health care plans canceled due to Obamacare.
The hyper-liberal cable news host bemoaned what she views as the Democratic Party’s unwillingness to campaign hard on their “accomplishments.” She likened this year’s electoral process to fixing up a house for sale.
Republicans, she argued, “go into a fallen-down, blighted house, slap some granite countertops while ignoring real problems, and declare their work the best thing ever! They have swagger.”
“And then you have the people who will do the more substantial, structural changes,” she continued, referring to Democrats. “They’ll redo the wiring or reinforce the foundation. But they won’t do anything to actively or aggressively court buyers or advertise their work. Try as they might, they can’t make the house look good.”
Harris-Perry’s solution? Get in voters’ faces about your policies — even those viewed as failures, like Obamacare.
“They’re not even owning it,” she lamented. “No confidence, no swagger, no ‘Yeah, you can’t keep your crappy plans. Just deal with that!’”
“President Obama certainly has that swagger,”she added, noting that other Democrats would do well to follow Obama’s lead.
Now, for a completely opposing view, listen to the tenacity from another democrat when he spoke out about the wonders of Obamacare and what it will do for his side of the aisle. And folks, Lynch minced no words…nary one! Even he can’t defend the indefensible! – You can read this report in full here:
Massachusetts representative Stephen Lynch isn’t just worried about the negative impact Obamacare will have on his party’s performance this fall — he also thinks its worst effects on our health-care system are still to come. Lynch, who voted against the Affordable Care Act in 2010, warned that the situation is “going to hit the fan” when the law’s delayed provisions go into effect down the road.
“There are parts of Obamacare, or the Affordable Care Act, that were postponed because they are unpalatable,” he told the Boston Herald. The “Cadillac tax” that goes into effect in a few years and taxes employer health plans over a certain value, he said, will be “the first time in this country’s history that we have actually taxed health care.”
And speaking of dems and poll numbers…check this one out. – You’ve got to love it. Make sure and read all of this, you’ll get a kick out of it!:
So, what kind of ‘swagger‘ you do you have for Obamacare…and how are you ‘just dealing with it’ as MHP told her side of the aisle, and everyone else too with her snarky remarks?
Also, as much as the most of us can’t stand Lynch…did he hit the nail on the head when it comes to common sense about this issue? Is he sending a strong warning to his side of the aisle? Do you think the dems will listen and take heed? Do you think the right-side of the aisle will retain the House and take the Senate come the midterm elections in Nov. because of the destruction OCare has caused all of us…and the nation as a whole? After-all, we must remember that it’s been estimated that OCare has taken over one-sixth of the economy as a whole. Spooky enough for ya…hmmm?
Okay, one final question: How are all of you dealing with OCare? Have you been hurt by it yet? Have any of you signed up for it because you simply had no other choice and had to at this stage of the game? – Be honest.
