AWD saw a report on Drudge the other day that said Americans don’t trust each other. There’s certainly a lot of anger and animosity and the country is politically and culturally segmented. There are too many who detract from this great nation rather than contributing and carrying their own weight. I do have antipathy to these moochers! But AWD has great love and respect for the generous, decent people who are a blessing to America.
Wonderful, caring people who do things like this:
I told you this next year, AWD is going try harder to highlight positive aspects of life in America. People doing kind things for others just because it is the right thing to do. Especially those who do kind things for AWD. Like the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders.
For the players on both teams that gave that boy with Down’s Syndrome a moment he’ll never forget…bless you! Your actions do you, your coaches, and your parents great credit! In a day when sports teams are rife with terrible people who trash talk and insult their opponents, your decency shines brightly through! It’s refreshing to see how sports can still create character instead of the individual, glory-hogging idiots we see in the NFL.
And God bless Noah VanVooren! What a remarkable spirit that enables him to participate in the way he does with his teammates! He is a hero and an example to us all who think our lives are so difficult!
Bravo! You are all AWD’s Dudes of the Week!
